UAE - UK Collaboration in AI in Healthcare

Following the UAE-UK Business Council’s Round Table on AI in Healthcare during Abu Dhabi Global Health Week in 2024, we curated a series of virtual knowledge sharing sessions between UK and UAE practitioners and experts, covering areas such as personalised medicine and genomics, the role of AI in drug discovery, and how to optimise the regulatory environment to enable the flow of healthcare data between both markets to research and commercial collaboration.

The Business Council subsequently held a Summit on these themes at
Arab Health in January 2025 and we will draw on these discussions in a White Paper, which we will publish in July 2025.

The Paper will contain a series of recommendations for Government, industry and the wider business community on the opportunities for commercial collaboration in AI in Healthcare.
